FLEXIBLE TUB VS RIGID PLASTIC TRAY

The difference
is flexibility—
not just shape.

A rigid tray cannot change shape around awkward pipework. The HeatLab tub flexes into the available gap, so more of the tub can sit beneath the connection where the water starts.

MORE THAN RADIATORS

For valves and awkward pipework too.

Its flexible body also reaches around cylinders, pumps and general pipework where a rigid tray cannot sit close enough.

Clipped around two pipes during general valve work.

Flexible enough for the gap; structured enough to stay useful.

DESIGNED ON THE TOOLS

Designed by a heating engineer who needed it himself.

HeatLab founder Lee Moio designed the tub after 25 years working on heating systems. Version 2.0 was strengthened using customer feedback, while keeping the flexibility that made the original useful.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you put it in the van.

What jobs is it designed for?

Most people use it when draining radiators or changing radiator valves. It is also useful beneath general valves, pumps and fittings where a bucket or rigid tray cannot sit close enough to the pipework.

Which pipe sizes does it fit?

The moulded pipe-grip points fit common 10mm, 15mm and 22mm heating pipework.

How much water does it hold?

Up to 2 litres. The extra capacity means fewer stops to empty the tub while draining radiators or changing valves.

Is it too flexible to carry when full?

No. The 2.0 XL uses a controlled-flex silicone: it compresses into awkward spaces but keeps enough structure to hold, carry and pour the water.

How do I empty it?

Use the shaped pouring corner to direct the water into a bucket or sink. Always isolate the appliance and allow system water to cool before opening a fitting.

How quickly is it sent, and can I return it?

Orders placed before 2pm dispatch the same working day from HeatLab's UK warehouse via Royal Mail Tracked, typically arriving in 1–2 working days. Unused, unopened items can be returned in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery; return postage for unwanted items is the customer's responsibility.

READY FOR THE NEXT RADIATOR JOB

Make radiator and valve work cleaner.

Clip it around the pipe, catch up to 2 litres and pour away through the shaped spout.
